The Crocs story began when its three founders from Boulder, Colorado decided to develop and market this superbly innovative new type of footwear. They named them Crocs™. The rest is history.
Crocs™ were originally intended to be a boating and outdoor shoe, for which they were perfectly suited because of their excellent slip-resistant, non-marking sole. However by 2003 Crocs™ had become universally accepted as an all purpose shoe, perfect for the beach, great for comfort and hygeine and fashionable at the same time.
From then on, Crocs™ focused on company growth and they have now expanded the product line, added more warehouses and shipping programs and speeded up their assembly and deliverytimes.
Today, Crocs™ are available worldwide as well as online and continue to expand their product ranges and their business.
Despite this rapid success, they maintain the core values of Crocs™. Their goal is to make lightweight, comfortable, slip-resistant, fashionable and functional shoes, produce them quickly, and keep them affordable.
